PATH Train
From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station nearest to you. If you're in downtown Jersey City, the Exchange Place PATH station is a good option. Board a train heading towards 'World Trade Center'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'World Trade Center' station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the Oculus and take the exit for Church St. Walk north on Church St towards the Hudson River, then turn left onto Liberty St. Continue walking until you reach the Battery Park City area. From there, you can catch a ferry or walk along the waterfront towards the Intrepid Museum located at Pier 86, W 46th St.

Ferry
If you're near the waterfront in Jersey City, you can board a ferry to Manhattan. Look for the NY Waterway ferry service, which operates from several points in Jersey City including the Paulus Hook and Harborside terminals. Once on the ferry, enjoy the scenic ride across the Hudson River. When you arrive at the New York terminal, disembark and head towards W 46th St. Walk north on the Hudson River Park Greenway until you reach the Intrepid Museum at Pier 86.

Locate a NJ Transit bus stop near you. Take the NJ Transit Bus #119 or #120 towards New York City. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From the terminal, walk towards 8th Ave and head north to W 46th St. Continue walking west until you reach Pier 86, the location of the Intrepid Museum.
