    From Jersey City, take the PATH train from either the Journal Square or Exchange Place station towards 33rd Street. Get off at the 33rd Street station in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the 1 subway line at 34th Street-Penn Station and head towards the Bronx. Ride the train to the 168th Street station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head northeast on 168th Street towards Shakespeare Avenue. Turn left onto Shakespeare Avenue, and you will find the Shakespeare Steps at 1161 Shakespeare Ave, Bronx, NY 10452.

    Bus

    You can take the NJ Transit Bus #119 from the Journal Square Bus Terminal in Jersey City, heading towards the George Washington Bridge. Get off at the stop at 170th Street and Shakespeare Avenue. From there, walk a short distance south on Shakespeare Avenue, and you will reach the Shakespeare Steps located at 1161 Shakespeare Ave, Bronx, NY 10452.

    Combination of Light Rail and Subway

    Start at the Jersey City Light Rail station nearest to you and take the Light Rail towards Hoboken. Get off at the Hoboken Terminal. At Hoboken Terminal, transfer to the PATH train towards 33rd Street. Once you reach 33rd Street in Manhattan, switch to the 1 subway line at 34th Street-Penn Station. Ride the subway north to 168th Street. Exit and head northeast on 168th Street, then turn left onto Shakespeare Avenue to find the Shakespeare Steps at 1161 Shakespeare Ave, Bronx, NY 10452.
