Getting There

Public Bus
From Stamford, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metro-North train from Stamford Station to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once at Grand Central, transfer to the 4 train towards Woodlawn and get off at the 161st Street - Yankee Stadium station. From there, walk about 10 minutes west along 161st Street until you reach the Grand Concourse. The Bronx Museum of the Arts will be on your right at 1040 Grand Concourse.

Start at Stamford Train Station. Take the Metro-North New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Grand Central Terminal and transfer to the subway. Take the 4 line towards Woodlawn and disembark at the 161st Street - Yankee Stadium station. Exit the station and walk west on 161st Street. When you reach Grand Concourse, turn right; The Bronx Museum of the Arts will be at 1040 Grand Concourse, just a short walk from the subway station.

If you're already in Stamford and prefer walking, you can stroll to a nearby public transportation hub, such as the Stamford Train Station, to begin your journey. However, for a direct walk to the Bronx Museum of the Arts, it is not feasible since the distance is considerable. Taking the train or bus is recommended for convenience.
