Such a fun and unexpected way to experience NYC. I’ve walked through this part of Manhattan so many times and had no idea how much I was missing. The AR glasses add this whole other layer to the city — art, stories and little surprises appear as you walk, but you’re still actually exploring the streets rather than staring at your phone. The whole thing was easy to figure out, even for people who aren’t particularly techy. It felt like a mix of a walking tour, an art experience and a glimpse of what the future of exploring cities might look like. Definitely one of the more unique things to do in NYC. Would recommend, especially if you’ve already done the usual museums and tourist attractions and want something different.

This is my third Escapely box, and the best one yet. The puzzles are challenging, but never frustrating. This is a great way to see the neighborhood while exploring the hidden features of the public art and spaces. I've done Escapely boxes with family ranging from 10 to 80 years old, and everyone has a blast.
