New York Fashion Walking Tour of the Upper East Side

A fascinating look at New York through the lens of fashion

Such a fascinating way to experience New York through the lens of fashion. The tour weaves together the history of the city, society, architecture, and American fashion in a way that is thoughtful and accessible. Moving through the Upper East Side and seeing the actual places connected to figures like Ralph Lauren, Gloria Vanderbilt, and Halston really brings the story to life. What I especially loved was the sense of timeline, from the influence of French fashion and Gilded Age society to the emergence of a distinctly American fashion identity and how that continues to evolve today. We learned so much and came away seeing familiar parts of the city through a completely different lens. A really engaging, well-researched, and thoughtfully curated experience. Highly recommend!

Upper East Side Icons Andy Warhol Truman Capote Tour

i love the Upper East Side now.

its a great way to explore the upper eastside with a unique angle and point of view. There are lots for things to see on the tour and discoveries to make along the way. Plus a subway ride as part of the tour: a great introduction to the system with a real newyorker. it was nice to end of at central park. i loved all the NYC gossip and insider stories.

The City Speaks: Experience the Languages of New York City

Immersive tour on NYC culture + slang

Came in not knowing what to expect and was super impressed! The experience was super engaging and I really loved all the different characters that "the tour" played. As someone who's lived near NYC for a while but never knew much about its history or culture, I thought it was really cool how the tour was structured around things that are a part of typical New York scenery as opposed to focusing for example on the more iconic tourist attractions. Highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning about NYC culture, both for tourists and for those living in / near New York!
