From any location in Jersey City, make your way to the nearest PATH train station. If you're near the Exchange Place station, head towards the escalators that lead to the platform. Purchase a ticket to the World Trade Center station in Manhattan. Once on the train, it will take approximately 10 minutes to reach your destination. Upon arrival at World Trade Center, exit the station and walk towards the Civic Center area, which is about a 5-minute walk to the north.

Locate a bus stop nearby and take the NJ Transit bus route 119 or 126 towards New York. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next arrival. The bus will take you directly to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, which is about a 20-minute ride depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the terminal, exit and walk towards 8th Avenue, then head south to reach the Civic Center area, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Head to the Liberty State Park Ferry Terminal, which is accessible via light rail or by walking if you're in the vicinity. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Battery Park City. The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you disembark at Battery Park City, exit the terminal and walk east towards the Civic Center, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.
