PATH Train
From Jersey City, head to the Exchange Place PATH station. Purchase a ticket for a ride to the 33rd Street station in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the 33rd Street station, exit and walk to the 34th Street & 6th Avenue subway station. Take the C train (blue line) towards 168th Street. Get off at the 59th Street - Columbus Circle station. From there, transfer to the 1 train (red line) and head uptown towards Van Cortlandt Park - 242nd Street. Get off at the 116th Street station. Once you exit the station, walk west on 116th Street until you reach Riverside Drive, then turn left (south) and walk until you reach West 100th Street. The Firemen's Memorial will be located at the intersection with Riverside Drive.

From Jersey City, head to the Liberty State Park Ferry Terminal. Board the ferry to Battery Park City in Manhattan. Once you arrive, walk towards the nearest subway station, which is the South Ferry station. Take the R or W train towards Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and transfer at the 34th Street - Herald Square station to the C train. Take the C train towards 168th Street and get off at the 59th Street - Columbus Circle station. From there, transfer to the 1 train heading uptown towards Van Cortlandt Park - 242nd Street. Get off at the 116th Street station. Walk west on 116th Street until you reach Riverside Drive, then turn left (south) to West 100th Street where the Firemen's Memorial is located.

Once you arrive at Port Authority, walk towards Times Square and find the 42nd Street subway station. Take the 1 train heading uptown towards Van Cortlandt Park - 242nd Street. Get off at the 116th Street station. From there, walk west on 116th Street until you reach Riverside Drive, then turn left (south) onto Riverside Drive. Continue until you reach West 100th Street where the Firemen's Memorial is located.
