    If you are in the center of Asbury Park, start at the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Head southeast along the boardwalk towards the beach. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Turn left onto Ocean Avenue and keep walking north until you reach Seaside Heights Beach, which should be approximately 3 miles down the road. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way, making for a pleasant walk.

  • Biking

    Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Asbury Park. Start at the Asbury Park Boardwalk, and ride south along the boardwalk path. When you reach the end of the boardwalk, continue straight onto Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue north for about 3 miles until you reach Seaside Heights Beach. There are bike lanes for most of the route, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride.

  • Public Transit

    From Asbury Park, you can take the NJ Transit bus number 817 towards Seaside Heights. Board the bus at the Asbury Park Transit Center located at 1 Convention Hall. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Seaside Heights stop, which is near the beach entrance. From there, it’s a short walk to the beach.
