Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Lambertville Visitor Center located at 18 Bridge Street. From there, head south on Bridge Street towards the Delaware River. When you reach the river, turn left onto the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park Trail and follow it until you reach the Lambertville-New Hope Bridge. Cross the bridge into New Hope, PA. Once you cross, continue straight to the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and follow it all the way to the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad station. Here, you can catch a train to Philadelphia. Get off at the 69th Street Terminal and transfer to the Market-Frankford Line towards 69th Street. Ride until you reach the 15th Street stop. Exit the subway station and head south on 15th Street; Dilworth Park will be on your left at 1 S 15th St.

  • Bus

    From the Lambertville Visitor Center located at 18 Bridge Street, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Bridge Street and Main Street. Catch the NJ Transit bus #L86 towards Trenton. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Trenton Train Station. From there, transfer to the NJ Transit train bound for Philadelphia. After about 30 minutes on the train, disembark at the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. From the station, you can take the Market-Frankford Line subway towards Frankford. Get off at the 15th Street stop. Exit the subway station and walk south on 15th Street for a few blocks; Dilworth Park will be on your left at 1 S 15th St.

    Begin your journey at the Lambertville Visitor Center located at 18 Bridge Street. Rent a bike from a local rental shop and head south on Bridge Street. Make your way to the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park Trail. Follow the trail to the Lambertville-New Hope Bridge, cross into New Hope, PA, and continue on Main Street. After reaching the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad station, find the bike path that leads to the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River. Follow the bike-friendly roads until you reach the 15th Street area in Philadelphia. Dilworth Park will be located at 1 S 15th St, accessible via the bike lanes in the area.
