Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Lambertville, head southeast on NJ-29. Follow NJ-29 for approximately 2 miles until you reach the bridge crossing over to Pennsylvania. After crossing the bridge, continue straight onto S Main St. Follow S Main St for about half a mile, then turn left onto Washington Ave. Continue on Washington Ave until it ends at the intersection with Waterworks Dr. Turn right onto Waterworks Dr, and the Fairmount Water Works will be on your left.

    If you prefer biking, you can take the Delaware Canal Towpath. Start at the Canal Towpath entrance near the Lambertville-New Hope Bridge. Cycle south along the towpath for about 3 miles until you reach the junction with Waterworks Dr. At the junction, turn left onto Waterworks Dr, and the Fairmount Water Works will be right ahead.

  • Public Transportation

    To get to Fairmount Water Works via public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop in Lambertville. Take the NJ Transit Bus 601 toward Trenton. Transfer at the Trenton Bus Terminal to the SEPTA Bus 1 towards the 69th Street Terminal. Get off at the stop for the Fairmount Water Works. The landmark will be a short walk from the bus stop.
