Getting There

    From the Lambertville Visitor Center, head east on Bridge Street towards the Delaware River. Cross the bridge into New Hope, Pennsylvania. Once you cross the bridge, follow the road straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue until you reach the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad, where you can take a scenic train ride. After visiting the railroad, head back to Main Street and continue walking straight. You will eventually reach the Old City in Philadelphia. It’s approximately a 30-minute walk from New Hope to the heart of Old City, so be prepared for a bit of a trek!

  • Public Transit

    From Lambertville, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop located on Bridge Street. Take the bus (Route 62) towards Trenton. Once you reach Trenton, transfer to the NJ Transit train (Northeast Corridor Line) heading towards Philadelphia. Get off at the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. From there, you can either take the Market-Frankford Line (blue line) to 5th Street, or walk east for about 15 minutes to reach Old City.
