From the center of Lambertville, start at the Lambertville-New Hope Bridge. Head north on Bridge Street towards North Main Street. Continue straight as Bridge Street turns into Goat Hill Overlook Trail. Follow Goat Hill Overlook Trail for approximately half a mile until you reach Washington’s Rock. The hike will take you through a scenic wooded area, and once you reach the overlook, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Delaware River.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental shops in Lambertville. Start at the Lambertville-New Hope Bridge and pedal north on Bridge Street. As you continue straight, Bridge Street will turn into Goat Hill Overlook Trail. This route is approximately half a mile. It’s a lovely ride, and you’ll enjoy the natural beauty along the way as you make your way to Washington’s Rock.
