Getting There

Car
From North Jersey, take the Garden State Parkway South (GSP). Follow signs for the GSP and merge onto the highway. Continue on the GSP for approximately 100 miles. Take exit 0 toward Cape May. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Route 9 South. After about 5 miles, turn left onto Light House Avenue. The entrance to Cape May Point State Park will be on your left. Note that there may be a parking fee; please check the state park website for current rates.

If you prefer public transportation, take a NJ Transit train from North Jersey to Atlantic City. From Atlantic City, transfer to a NJ Transit bus (Route 552) heading to Cape May. Once in Cape May, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Cape May Point State Park, which is about 3 miles away.
