From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the NJ Transit Bus #11 towards New York Port Authority. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection with Route 9W. Get off at the stop near the Nanuet Mall, then transfer to the Short Line Bus that directly goes to Bear Mountain State Park.
