Public Transit
From the Paterson train station, take the NJ Transit train towards New York Penn Station. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at New York Penn Station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the 34th Street subway station and take the A train towards Far Rockaway. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the High Street station in Brooklyn. Exit the station and walk east on High Street towards the Manhattan Bridge. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Montague Street. Turn left onto Montague Street and walk straight until you reach the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.

From the Paterson City Hall bus stop, take NJ Transit bus #190 towards New York Port Authority. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, head to the 8th Avenue subway entrance and take the A train towards Far Rockaway. After about 20 minutes, get off at the High Street station in Brooklyn. Once you exit the station, walk east on High Street towards the Manhattan Bridge. Continue straight until you reach Montague Street, then turn left and walk to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
