Getting There

Bus
From Paterson, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the corner of Market Street and Main Street. Take NJ Transit Bus 190 towards the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. The ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, follow signs for the 42nd Street exit. After exiting the terminal, walk east on 42nd Street for about 5 minutes until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue, and Bryant Park will be on your left.

Train
Make your way to the Paterson train station located at 2 Market Street. Take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line towards Hoboken. Disembark at Secaucus Junction (approximately 10 minutes), then transfer to a train heading to New York Penn Station (approximately 10 minutes). Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the station and walk east on 34th Street until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left onto 5th Avenue and walk north for about 10 minutes until you reach Bryant Park.

If you are near downtown Paterson, you can walk to the nearest bus stop at Market Street and Main Street. From there, take the NJ Transit bus 190 as mentioned above. However, if you prefer to walk, you can head south down Market Street until you reach the Passaic River. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge to reach River Drive. Follow River Drive until you reach the intersection with Route 20. Continue walking along Route 20 until you reach the bus stop for NJ Transit bus services that can take you into New York City.
