    Public Bus

    From downtown Paterson, head to the nearest bus stop for NJ Transit buses. Take the 75 or 76 bus towards New York City. These buses run frequently and will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, exit the terminal and transfer to the subway system. Take the A, C, or E train to 42nd Street-Times Square. Walk towards 7th Avenue and catch the 1, 2, or 3 train heading uptown to 72nd Street. Exit at 72nd Street and walk east towards Central Park. The Central Park Boathouse is located at East 72nd Street and Center Drive.

    Train

    Start at the Paterson train station and board a NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Get off at the Hoboken Terminal, then transfer to the PATH train to 33rd Street in Manhattan. Once you arrive, transfer to the subway and take the A, C, or E train to 42nd Street-Times Square. From there, switch to the 1, 2, or 3 train heading uptown to 72nd Street. After exiting the subway at 72nd Street, walk east to arrive at the Central Park Boathouse located at East 72nd Street and Center Drive.
