Bus
From downtown Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop, which is located at the intersection of Market Street and Broadway. Board the bus heading towards New York City (look for routes 86 or 87). After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, follow the signs to the subway station and take the A, C, or E train downtown to 125th Street Station. Upon exiting the subway, walk east for about 10 minutes towards Central Park North and 5th Avenue.

Head to the Paterson train station located at 100 Market Street. Take a NJ Transit train on the Main/Bergen County Line towards Hoboken. Get off at Secaucus Junction and transfer to an NJ Transit train heading to New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the station and walk to 34th Street where you can catch the subway. Take the A, C, or E train north to 125th Street Station. From there, walk east towards Central Park North and 5th Avenue.
