Walking
Starting from Stamford Town Center, head southeast on Main St toward Broad St. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Stamford train station. From there, take the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and head to the subway station located beneath the terminal. Take the 4, 5, or 6 subway line towards the Bronx and get off at the 86th Street station. After exiting the subway, walk west on 86th Street until you reach Central Park North. Turn left and walk into Central Park to find the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center, located near the northern edge of the park.

Public Transit
From the Stamford train station, board a Metro-North train heading toward Grand Central Terminal. This train operates frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The ride will take around 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the subway area. Take the 4, 5, or 6 subway line, and get off at 86th Street. From the subway exit, walk west on 86th Street for a couple of blocks until you reach Central Park North. Enter the park, and the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center will be on your left.
