Getting There

Bus
From your location in Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Look for bus route 70, which travels to New York City. Once on the bus, make sure to get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the subway and take the A or C train downtown to Chambers Street. Exit the subway station and walk a short distance towards Broadway. City Hall Park will be at the intersection of Broadway and Chambers Street.

Make your way to the Paterson train station. Board a NJ Transit train on the Main/Bergen County Line towards Hoboken. Disembark at the Hoboken Terminal. From there, take the PATH train to the World Trade Center station. Upon exiting, walk towards Church Street, then turn left onto Chambers Street. Continue walking until you reach Broadway, where City Hall Park is located.

If you are already near downtown Paterson, you can walk to City Hall Park. Start by heading towards Market Street and follow it east until you reach the Passaic River. Cross over the bridge to the other side of the river, and continue walking straight until you reach NJ Route 19. Follow Route 19 south, which will lead you towards the city. You can then catch a bus or train to Manhattan as described above.
