From Paterson, take the NJ Transit train from Paterson Station to Hoboken Terminal. Once you arrive at Hoboken, transfer to the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Alight at the 9th Street station. From there, walk north on 9th Street until you reach Washington Street, then turn left. Walk until you reach the intersection of Washington and Baxter Streets. Columbus Park is located at Mulberry Street and Baxter Street. It should be a short walk from there.

Catch the NJ Transit bus number 75 from Paterson Bus Terminal heading towards New York City. Stay on the bus until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan. From there, take the A, C, or E subway line downtown to Canal Street. Exit the subway and walk east on Canal Street until you reach Mulberry Street. Turn left on Mulberry and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Baxter Street where Columbus Park is located.
