    From Paterson, head to the Paterson Station on Broadway. Take a NJ Transit train on the Main Line or Bergen County Line towards Hoboken. Get off at Secaucus Junction. From there, transfer to a train heading towards Penn Station in New York City. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit and walk to the nearby 34th Street-Penn Station subway entrance. Take the 1 subway line downtown towards South Ferry and get off at 34th Street-Hudson Yards. Then transfer to the 7 subway line at the same station, heading towards Flushing. Get off at the 46th Street-Bliss Street station. From there, walk east on 46th Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of Gantry Plaza State Park.

    From Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop (such as on Market Street). Take the NJ Transit bus #190 towards New York Port Authority Bus Terminal. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, walk to the nearby 42nd Street subway entrance. Take the 7 subway line heading towards Flushing and get off at the 46th Street-Bliss Street station. From there, walk east on 46th Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Gantry Plaza State Park.

    If you prefer to walk, head to the Paterson Museum located at 2 Market Street. From there, walk to the nearest NJ Transit train station (Paterson Station) which is about a 15-minute walk. Take a NJ Transit train towards Hoboken. At Hoboken, transfer to the PATH train towards World Trade Center and get off at 33rd Street. From there, walk to the nearby 34th Street-Penn Station subway entrance. Take the 1 subway line downtown towards South Ferry and then transfer to the 7 subway line at the same station, heading towards Flushing. Get off at the 46th Street-Bliss Street station. Finally, walk east on 46th Street for about 5 minutes to reach Gantry Plaza State Park.
