Bus
From the Paterson Bus Terminal, take NJ Transit Bus 197 towards New York Port Authority. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once you arrive, exit the terminal and walk to 8th Avenue. Turn left and walk north until you reach W 51st St. Turn right on W 51st St, and you will find the Gershwin Theatre at 222 W 51st St.
Train
Head to the Paterson Train Station. Board a NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Transfer at Secaucus Junction to a train heading to New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at Penn Station, follow the signs to 8th Avenue. Exit the station and walk north on 8th Avenue until you reach W 51st St. Turn right on W 51st St, and the Gershwin Theatre will be at 222 W 51st St.
Walking
If you are already near downtown Paterson, you can walk to the Paterson Train Station. From there, follow the directions for the Train option above. Alternatively, if you are located in a nearby neighborhood, you may use a mapping app to find the best walking route to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and follow the Bus option.
