Public Transit: Bus
From downtown Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. You can catch the NJ Transit #190 bus towards New York Port Authority. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City, exit the terminal and head towards 8th Avenue. Walk a few blocks south until you reach 42nd Street. Turn right on 42nd Street and continue walking until you reach 7th Avenue. Hershey's Chocolate World will be located at 20 Times Square on your left.

Make your way to the Paterson Train Station and take the NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line towards New York Penn Station. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the station and walk to 34th Street. From there, catch the subway on the 1, 2, or 3 lines to Times Square-42nd Street station. Once you arrive at Times Square, exit the station and head towards 7th Avenue. Walk north on 7th Avenue for a couple of blocks until you see 20 Times Square, where Hershey's Chocolate World is located.
