Getting There

    From downtown Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop on Main Street. Take the NJ Transit Bus #11 towards New York Port Authority. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards 8th Avenue. Turn left on 8th Avenue and continue walking until you reach West 33rd Street. Madison Square Garden will be directly in front of you.

  • Train

    Head to the Paterson Train Station located at 1 Market Street. Purchase a ticket for the NJ Transit train heading towards New York Penn Station. The train ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the station and walk towards 7th Avenue. Turn left on 7th Avenue and walk south until you reach West 33rd Street. Madison Square Garden will be on your right side.

  • Walking

    If you are already close to the center of Paterson, you can also take a scenic walk. Start from the Great Falls National Historical Park, head south on McBride Avenue, then turn right onto Market Street. Continue straight until you reach the Paterson Train Station.
