Public Transit - Bus
From Paterson, head to the nearest bus stop where you can catch the NJ Transit bus route 160 towards New York. Board the bus and travel for approximately 30-40 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop closest to the George Washington Bridge Bus Station. From there, transfer to the MTA Subway (L line) at the nearby 8th Avenue station. Take the subway toward Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway and get off at the Bedford Avenue station. Walk north on Bedford Avenue until you reach Lorimer Street. Turn left on Lorimer Street and continue walking until you reach McCarren Park at 776 Lorimer St.

Public Transit - Train
Make your way to the Paterson train station. Board a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line heading towards New York Penn Station. After around 30 minutes, get off at New York Penn Station. From there, switch to the L subway line heading towards Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway. Travel for about 20 minutes and get off at the Bedford Avenue station. Walk north on Bedford Avenue and then turn left onto Lorimer Street. Continue walking for a few blocks, and you will arrive at McCarren Park, located at 776 Lorimer St.
