If you are in downtown Paterson, start at the Paterson City Hall located at 155 Market St. Head southeast on Market St towards the intersection with Broadway. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Van Houten St. Keep walking and you will see the Paterson Museum on your left at 2 Market St. The museum is directly across the street from the Great Falls of Paterson.

Public Transport
From the Paterson Train Station located at 1 Market St, exit the station and head southeast on Market St. You can catch the NJ Transit Bus #11 or #75 towards Clifton at the bus stop right outside the station. Ride the bus for 3 stops and get off at the stop for Market St and Van Houten St. From there, walk back towards Van Houten St and head towards 2 Market St where the Paterson Museum is located.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing station. Start from the bike station at 51 Market St, head south towards Main St, and then take a left onto Broadway. Continue straight until you reach Market St. Turn right on Market St and ride for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Paterson Museum at 2 Market St. There are bike racks available for parking your bike at the museum.
