Bus
From Paterson, walk to the nearest bus stop, which could be on Broadway or Market Street. Look for NJ Transit bus routes 155 or 171 heading towards New York City. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. Once there, transfer to the E subway line towards Jamaica Center. Get off at the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue station and transfer to the 7 subway line towards Flushing. Get off at the 111th Street station, then walk to Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The Queens Museum is located within the park, near the Unisphere.
Train
Head to the Paterson train station and take a NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Transfer at Secaucus Junction to a train heading towards New York City. Disembark at Penn Station. From Penn Station, take the E subway line towards Jamaica Center and get off at the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue station. Transfer to the 7 subway line towards Flushing and get off at the 111th Street station. Walk to Flushing Meadows Corona Park where the Queens Museum is located.
Walking
If you are close to the downtown area, you can walk to the nearest bus stop or train station. However, if you prefer walking, consider walking towards the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, then take a scenic route northeast towards the Passaic River. Follow the river north until you reach the nearest public transport options or major roads that can connect you to bus or train services heading towards New York City. Once you reach New York City, follow the subway instructions as mentioned above.
