Getting There
Walking
If you are in downtown Paterson, head south on Main Street toward Market Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and walk until you reach the Paterson Train Station. From there, you can take a NJ Transit train heading toward Hoboken and get off at the Riverdale station. Once you arrive at the Riverdale station, walk northeast on Riverdale Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach Arlington Avenue. Turn left onto Arlington Avenue, and the Riverdale Y will be on your right at 5625 Arlington Ave.
Public Transport
From Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the NJ Transit bus #190 towards New York Port Authority. Stay on the bus for approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop on Riverdale Avenue at the corner of Arlington Avenue. From there, walk a short distance northeast on Riverdale Avenue, then turn left onto Arlington Avenue. The Riverdale Y will be on your right at 5625 Arlington Ave.
Biking
If you prefer biking, start from downtown Paterson and head southwest on Main Street toward Market Street. Continue to the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park and take the scenic route along the Passaic River. Follow the river north until you reach the bike path that leads to Riverdale Avenue. Turn left on Riverdale Avenue and bike north for about 2 miles. When you reach Arlington Avenue, turn left and the Riverdale Y will be on your right at 5625 Arlington Ave.
