From Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. You can take the NJ Transit bus number 155 towards New York Port Authority. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you disembark, head towards 8th Avenue and walk north until you reach West 72nd Street. Turn right onto West 72nd Street and continue until you reach Riverside Park, located along the Hudson River. The park entrance will be on your left.

Walk to the Paterson Train Station and board a NJ Transit train heading towards New York Penn Station. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Penn Station, exit and head towards the 8th Avenue exit. Walk north on 8th Avenue until you reach West 72nd Street. Turn right onto West 72nd Street and continue walking until you arrive at Riverside Park, which will be on your left along the Hudson River.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Great Falls National Historical Park in Paterson. Head south on McBride Avenue until you reach Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue straight until you reach the NJ Transit bus terminal. Take the bus number 155 to New York City. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, walk to 8th Avenue, head north, and turn right onto West 72nd Street to reach Riverside Park.
