Getting There

  • Bus

    From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the #192 bus towards the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk to the nearby 42nd Street Subway Station. Take the 1, 2, or 3 train towards downtown Manhattan. Get off at the Chambers Street station and transfer to the J or Z train towards Jamaica Center. Get off at the Essex Street station. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head northeast on Essex Street, then turn left onto Delancey Street. Continue straight until you reach Chrystie Street, where you will find Sara D. Roosevelt Park.

    First, make your way to the Paterson train station. Take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit and head to the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines. Take the subway downtown and get off at Chambers Street. From there, transfer to the J or Z train towards Jamaica Center and get off at the Essex Street station. After exiting the station, walk northeast on Essex Street for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto Delancey Street, and continue until you reach Chrystie Street, where Sara D.
