Getting There

  • Train

    From Greenwich Station, take the Metro-North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. You will need to transfer at either Stamford or New Haven, depending on the schedule. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and transfer to the 4, 5, or 6 subway line heading downtown. Get off at the Bowery station and walk about 10 minutes east to reach the New Museum at 235 Bowery.

    Take the Connecticut Transit bus number 10 from Greenwich to Stamford Transportation Center. At Stamford, transfer to the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. When you arrive at Grand Central, switch to the 4, 5, or 6 subway lines heading downtown. Get off at the Bowery station and walk approximately 10 minutes east to your destination, the New Museum at 235 Bowery.

  • Bicycle

    From central Greenwich, head north on Greenwich Avenue towards East Putnam Avenue. Follow East Putnam Avenue until you reach the Merritt Parkway bike path. Continue on the bike path until you reach the nearest Metro-North station (Stamford). Take the train to Grand Central Terminal. From Grand Central, rent a bike or use a bike-share program to ride to the New Museum at 235 Bowery, which is about a 15-minute ride from the station.
