    Bus

    From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. You can catch the NJ Transit Bus #190 or #164 heading toward New York City. Make sure to check the bus schedule online or at the stop for the next departure. Ride the bus until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once there, transfer to the L subway line at 8th Avenue Station. Take the L train towards Brooklyn and disembark at the Bedford Avenue Station. From Bedford Avenue, walk east on Bedford Avenue until you reach Metropolitan Avenue. Turn left onto Metropolitan Avenue and walk until you reach 579 Metropolitan Ave, The Brick.

    Train

    Begin at the Paterson Train Station and take the NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Transfer at Secaucus Junction to the train towards New York Penn Station. From New York Penn Station, head to the 34th Street-Hudson Yards subway station and take the 7 subway line to 34th Street-Hudson Yards. Switch to the L train and head towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Bedford Avenue Station. From there, walk east on Bedford Avenue until you reach Metropolitan Avenue. Turn left on Metropolitan Avenue and walk to 579 Metropolitan Ave, The Brick.
