    Getting There

    Public Bus

    From downtown Paterson, walk to the nearest bus stop on Broadway. Take the NJ Transit bus # 155 towards New York (Port Authority). The bus will take you directly towards the George Washington Bridge. Ride for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you exit the terminal, walk to 8th Avenue and head south until you reach West 72nd Street. Turn right on West 72nd Street, and walk until you reach Verdi Square.

    Train

    Head to the Paterson Train Station, located at 5 Broadway. Board a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line towards New York Penn Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the station and walk to 34th Street and take the subway (1 train) at 34th Street-Penn Station heading uptown. Get off at the 72nd Street station and walk west to Verdi Square, located at the intersection of Broadway and West 72nd Street.

    If you prefer walking, start from the Great Falls National Historical Park in Paterson. Walk south on McBride Avenue, then turn onto Market Street, heading towards the Paterson Train Station. From there, you can take either the bus or train options described above.
