    To get to Brooklyn Heights from Paterson, start by heading to the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 100 Broadway. Look for the NJ Transit bus that goes to New York City, specifically the 165 or 190 lines. Purchase your ticket from the ticket booth or machine. Once on the bus, sit back and enjoy the ride; it will take you approximately 30-45 minutes. Disembark at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, take the subway. Head down to the subway station and take the A or C train from 42nd Street. Make sure to get off at the High Street station in Brooklyn. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Brooklyn Heights, which is just a short walk away.

    Begin your journey at the Paterson Train Station located at 100 Market Street. Board a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line or the Raritan Valley Line heading towards Hoboken or Newark. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Hoboken, transfer to the PATH train and take it to the World Trade Center station. From there, transfer to the A or C subway line and head towards Brooklyn. Get off at the High Street station. Upon exiting, you will find yourself in Brooklyn Heights.

    If you prefer a more active approach and the weather is nice, you could walk to your destination. Start at the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park. From there, head southwest along McBride Avenue until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and continue walking until you reach the Paterson Bus Terminal. From here, follow the public bus instructions to Brooklyn Heights.
