    Bus

    From Paterson, head to the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 1 Market St, Paterson, NJ 07501. Take NJ Transit Bus No. 190 towards New York Port Authority. The bus will take you towards New York City. Get off at the stop at 42nd St & 8th Ave. From there, transfer to the subway. Take the A or C train from 42nd St - Port Authority to Jay St - MetroTech station in Brooklyn. Once you exit the subway, walk 0.5 miles east to reach 195 Cadman Plz W, Brooklyn, NY 11201, where the Brooklyn War Memorial is located.

    Train

    Start at the Paterson Station located at 1 Market St, Paterson, NJ 07501. Take the NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Transfer at Secaucus Junction to the train heading towards New York Penn Station. At Penn Station, transfer to the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) and take a train towards Atlantic Terminal. Once you arrive at Atlantic Terminal, transfer to the R subway line towards Bay Ridge. Get off at Court St station and walk approximately 0.3 miles to 195 Cadman Plz W, Brooklyn, NY 11201, where the Brooklyn War Memorial is situated.

    Walking

    If you are already in the downtown area of Paterson, walk to the Paterson Museum located at 2 Market St, Paterson, NJ 07501. From the museum, head towards Market St and follow it until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and continue walking straight until you reach the NJ Transit Bus Terminal. From there, follow the Bus guidance to take the Bus No. 190 to New York City, and transfer to reach Brooklyn War Memorial as described earlier.
