Walking
If you are starting from the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, head northwest on McBride Ave toward Market St. After about 0.2 miles, turn right onto Market St and continue for another 0.3 miles. At the intersection, turn left onto W Broadway. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 8th Ave. Turn right onto 8th Ave and continue for 0.4 miles. After passing through the residential area, you will see signs for Garret Mountain Reservation. Follow the signs which will lead you through the entrance of the park.

Public Transit
Start at the Paterson Intermodal Station. Take NJ Transit bus #751 towards West Paterson. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop near 8 Mountain Ave. Walk up Mountain Ave for about 0.2 miles, following the signs directing you to Garret Mountain Reservation. The entrance is located on your left.

From the Paterson City Hall, head south on Broadway, and turn right onto Market St. Continue onto W Broadway, and after about 0.5 miles, turn left onto 8th Ave. Ride along 8th Ave until you reach the park entrance at Mountain Ave. This route is about 2 miles and can be completed in approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
