Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop at Main St & Market St. Take the NJ Transit bus #190 towards New York Port Authority. Stay on the bus for approximately 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once you arrive, exit the terminal and walk to 42nd St & 8th Ave. From there, you can take the subway (1, 2, or 3 train) to 42nd St - Times Square, and then transfer to the 7 train towards Flushing. Get off at Grand Central Station stop. Grand Central Terminal will be right in front of you.

  • Train

    Make your way to the Paterson Train Station located at 6 Market St. Purchase a ticket for the NJ Transit train heading towards New York Penn Station. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, follow signs to the subway. Take the subway (1, 2, or 3 train) to 42nd St - Times Square, and then transfer to the 7 train towards Flushing. Get off at Grand Central Station stop. You will find Grand Central Terminal directly ahead.

  • Walking

    If you are nearby the Great Falls National Historical Park, you can start your walk towards Grand Central Terminal. Exit the park and head northeast on McBride Ave toward Broadway. Continue on Broadway until you reach the intersection with 42nd St. Turn left onto 42nd St and walk east. Continue on 42nd St for about 2 miles. Grand Central Terminal will be on your right at 89 E 42nd St.
