Getting There
Bus
From downtown Paterson, head to the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 100 Broadway. Look for NJ Transit buses heading towards New York City. Specifically, take the NJ Transit Bus #190 or #197, which will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, follow the signs to the subway stations.
Train
Make your way to the Paterson Train Station located at 1 Market Street. Take a NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Get off at the Hoboken Terminal, which takes about 15 minutes. From Hoboken, transfer to the PATH train towards 33rd Street in Manhattan. It will take around 10-15 minutes to reach the 33rd Street station. From there, you can walk or take the subway to Lower Manhattan.

Start by heading south on Main Street, following it until you reach the Passaic River. Continue along the riverfront until you reach the George Washington Bridge.
