Walking
If you are starting from the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, head east on McBride Avenue towards the intersection with Main Street. Continue straight as McBride Avenue turns slightly left and becomes Goffle Road. Follow Goffle Road for about 1.5 miles. You will pass through a residential area and various small shops. After crossing the intersection with 4th Avenue, the Ryerson House Monument will be on your left at 360 Goffle Rd, Hawthorne, NJ 07506. Look for the historical marker that indicates the monument.

From the Paterson Bus Terminal, take NJ Transit Bus #11 towards Hawthorne. Board the bus and remain on it for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Goffle Road and 4th Avenue. From there, walk north on Goffle Road for about 0.2 miles.
