From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the #190 bus towards New York Port Authority. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop on 8th Avenue and 42nd Street in Manhattan. From there, walk west on 42nd Street for about 10 minutes until you reach 7th Avenue. Turn left and walk south for 5 blocks until you reach Sheridan Square.

Make your way to the Paterson Train Station, located at 8th Avenue and Broadway. Board a NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Disembark at the Secaucus Junction station. Transfer to a train bound for New York Penn Station. Once at Penn Station, exit and walk west along 34th Street until reaching 7th Avenue. Turn left on 7th Avenue and head south for about 20 minutes until you arrive at Sheridan Square.

If you are near the center of Paterson, you can walk to Sheridan Square. Head west on Market Street until you reach McBride Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and continue straight until you reach the Paterson Train Station. From there, follow the bus or train instructions to reach Manhattan.
