    To reach The Cooper Union: Foundation Building from Paterson, head to the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 1 Market Street. Take NJ Transit bus number 190 towards New York Port Authority Bus Terminal. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk to 8th Avenue. From there, take the subway at the 42nd Street subway station and board the E train towards World Trade Center. At the next stop, 34th Street - Penn Station, transfer to the A, C, or E train towards Canal Street. Get off at the 2nd Avenue stop. Walk east on 2nd Avenue for about 4 blocks, then turn left onto E 7th Street. The Foundation Building will be on your right at 7 E 7th St.

    Start at the Paterson Train Station located on Broadway. Take a NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Get off at Secaucus Junction and transfer to a train heading to New York Penn Station. Once at Penn Station, exit the station and walk to the subway at 34th Street. Take the A, C, or E train towards World Trade Center. Get off at the 2nd Avenue stop. Walk east on 2nd Avenue for about 4 blocks, then turn left onto E 7th Street. The Foundation Building will be on your right at 7 E 7th St.
