From the center of Red Bank, head southeast on Broad Street towards Monmouth Street. Turn left on Monmouth Street and continue walking until you reach the Red Bank train station. Board a NJ Transit train heading towards New York Penn Station. After approximately a 40-minute ride, disembark at the Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. From there, it's a short walk to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Head east on Atlantic Avenue, then take a right on Washington Avenue, and continue until you reach the entrance of the garden.

From Red Bank, walk to the nearest bus stop on Broad Street. Take the NJ Transit bus number 834 towards New York. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the Brooklyn stop. Once you arrive, you can either walk or take a local bus to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. If walking, head east on Atlantic Avenue, then take a right on Washington Avenue.
