Public Transit
From the center of Red Bank, walk to the Red Bank train station, which is located at 176 Riverside Avenue. Once there, purchase a ticket for a train heading towards New York Penn Station. Board the train and enjoy the ride, which will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, transfer to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) towards Babylon or Montauk, and get off at the 34th Street-Hudson Yards station. From there, take the subway line 7 towards Flushing and get off at the 61st Street-Woodside station. Finally, transfer to the Q32 bus towards Astoria and get off at the 18th Avenue stop. You will be in the Dyker Heights area, where you can explore the beautiful neighborhood and its famous holiday lights.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to experience the local area, start at the Red Bank train station. Walk south on Riverside Avenue until you reach West Front Street. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Maple Avenue. Turn right onto Maple Avenue, and continue until you see the signs for the Brooklyn-bound train. While this route is longer and not recommended for those in a hurry, it will give you a chance to explore the neighborhoods of Red Bank and beyond.

You can use rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft to travel from Red Bank to Dyker Heights. Simply open the app and enter 'Dyker Heights, Brooklyn' as your destination. The driver will pick you up at your current location in Red Bank and take you directly to Dyker Heights. Expect the ride to take about 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
