Walking
If you are starting from the Red Bank train station, exit the station and head southeast on West Front Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Maple Avenue. Turn left onto Maple Avenue and walk until you reach Monmouth Street. Turn right onto Monmouth Street and continue walking straight. After a few blocks, you will find yourself in the downtown area where you can catch a train or bus to Manhattan. Look for NJ Transit services heading to New York Penn Station.
Public Transport
From Red Bank, you can take the NJ Transit train from the Red Bank station directly to New York Penn Station. Board a North Jersey Coast Line train that is heading to New York. The journey is approximately 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Penn Station, you will be in the heart of Manhattan. Exit the station and follow signs for 7th Avenue to start exploring.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the scenic paths through Red Bank. Start from Broad Street and head towards the waterfront. Follow the shoreline north along the Navesink River until you connect with local bike trails leading towards the train station. From there, you can easily access the NJ Transit service to Manhattan. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling rules.
