Getting There

  • Train

    To reach The High Line in New York City from Red Bank, start by heading to the Red Bank train station located at 176 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Board a North Jersey Coast Line train heading toward New York Penn Station. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at New York Penn Station, exit the train and follow the signs to 8th Avenue.

    After exiting Penn Station, walk west on 34th Street towards 8th Avenue. Turn left (south) on 8th Avenue and continue walking until you reach 20th Street. At 20th Street, turn right (west) and continue walking until you arrive at the entrance to The High Line at Gansevoort Street. The High Line entrance is located at approximately 20th Street and 10th Avenue.

  • Subway

    Alternatively, from Penn Station, you can take the subway. Head to the 34th Street - Penn Station subway station and take the C train (blue line) towards World Trade Center. Get off at the 14th Street subway stop. From there, walk west to 10th Avenue and then head north until you reach the entrance of The High Line.
