Walking
From the Red Bank Train Station, exit onto Monmouth Street and head east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street and walk until you reach the intersection with West Front Street. Turn left onto West Front Street. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Navesink River. Cross the river using the bridge and continue walking along the riverfront until you reach Riverside Gardens Park. From there, head east toward the intersection of Riverside Avenue and East Front Street. Take a left onto East Front Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Maple Avenue. Turn right onto Maple Avenue and continue straight until you arrive at the Red Bank area where you can catch the train or bus to New York City.
Public Transport
From Red Bank, head to the Red Bank Train Station located at 176 Monmouth Street. Purchase a ticket to New York Penn Station. The train usually departs every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station in New York City, exit the station and head toward 7th Avenue. Walk north for about 5 blocks until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left onto 5th Avenue, and continue walking for about 5 more blocks until you arrive at the Flatiron Building located at 175 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010. The iconic building will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Red Bank. Start from the center of Red Bank and head north on Broad Street. Follow the road as it curves and turns into West Front Street. Continue cycling along West Front Street, which will take you toward the Navesink River. Cross the river using the bridge and then follow the bike path that runs along the waterfront. Keep following the path until it leads you to the train station area. From there, you can take the train to New York Penn Station. Once you arrive, head out to 5th Avenue as described in the public transport section.
