Ferry
From Red Bank, walk to the nearby Red Bank train station and take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards Bay Head. Get off at the Long Branch station. From Long Branch, walk to the nearby Long Branch Ferry Terminal. Take the ferry to Sandy Hook. Once you arrive at the Sandy Hook ferry terminal, follow the signs to Sandy Hook Lighthouse, which is approximately a 1-mile walk along the scenic path.
Bus and Walking
From Red Bank, walk to the bus stop at Broad St & Monmouth St. Take the NJ Transit Bus No. 834 towards Sea Bright. Get off at the Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreation Area stop. From there, it is about a 2-mile walk to Sandy Hook Lighthouse. Follow the signs along the path leading to the lighthouse.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Red Bank. Head towards the Monmouth County bike path and make your way towards Sandy Hook. The bike path will take you through scenic areas and eventually lead you to the entrance of Sandy Hook. Once you enter, continue along the designated bicycle paths to reach Sandy Hook Lighthouse.
