    Getting There

    Bus

    From Seaside Heights, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Boulevard. Take the NJ Transit Bus #137 towards Barnegat Light. The bus will make stops along the way, so remain seated until it reaches Barnegat Light. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Barnegat Light, the park entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.

    Bike

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Seaside Heights. Start by heading north on the Boulevard, which will eventually lead you to Long Beach Island. Continue on the bike path along the road, following the signs to Barnegat Light. The distance is approximately 10 miles and can take about 1-1.5 hours depending on your biking speed. Once you reach Barnegat Light, follow the signs to Barnegat Lighthouse State Park.
