Getting There

    From Atlantic City, take Route 30 (Absecon Boulevard) east towards Brigantine. Follow Route 30 until you reach the traffic circle at the entrance to Brigantine. Take the first exit onto Brigantine Avenue and continue until you reach the north end of the island. Look for signs directing you to North Brigantine Natural Area, which is located at the northern tip of Brigantine Island. There is no parking fee, and the area is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, you can take a NJ Transit bus (Route 505) from Atlantic City to Brigantine. The bus will drop you off on Brigantine Avenue. From there, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to the North Brigantine Natural Area. Follow Brigantine Avenue north until you reach the beach access points that lead into the natural area. Make sure to check the NJ Transit schedule for the most current routes and times.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can ride from Atlantic City to Brigantine using the dedicated bike path along the Atlantic City Boulevard.
